Because You Want Them to Love This Sport. Introduce your kids to mountain biking or encourage them to improve their skills. Sign a waiver, put a helmet on them, and watch them try their skills and tackle obstacles in a challenging and supportive environment. They will gain confidence and have fun. You will love that they want to ride.

Kids bring their own rides, or try out a demo bike. The Kids’ Rodeo will be run by Trips for Kids Santa Cruz, a volunteer non-profit which provides positive outdoor experiences for at-risk kids through mountain biking. A special thank you to Monterey Off Road Cycling Association (MORCA) for the use of their bike skills obstacle course.

When: Saturday, April 13 & Sunday, April 14. See schedule for timing.

What if it rains? This event runs rain or shine.

There’s fun for parents too! Volunteer to help run the event, participate in a “big kids” event, or check out the Expo for a host of other activities.
