Learn from the best! Pro rider, and Santa Cruz native, Tammy Donahugh will team up with Kat Sweet to host two bike skills clinics: Mountain Bike and Pump Track.


Learn to pump and flow like a pro, with special guest coaches Tammy and Kat. Whether you are working on pump tracks, pumping into dirt jumps, or simply pumping sections of trail, this class will teach you proper technique for gaining momentum without pedaling. Bring your own ride, or reserve a demo bike.  Helmets are mandatory. Water, flat pedals, pads, and ability to lower your seat recommended.

What if it rains? Heavy rain on the day of event may cause it to be cancelled. In case of cancellation, clinic participants will be refunded their fee minus a $5 processing charge.


If you are looking to improve your current skill set or gain some new tricks, Tammy and Kat will help you get over whatever the trail puts in your way. Skills include cornering, switchbacks, steep roll downs, wheel lifts over obstacles, line selection and more. If group is diverse in skill level, we will break into groups. Bring your own ride, or reserve a demo bike.  Helmets are mandatory. Water, flat pedals, and pads recommended.

Tammy Donahugh

Pro rider Tammy Donahugh grew up in Santa Cruz, but now resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she is a Trail Specialist for the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA). Tammy’s enthusiasm for riding bikes started 17 year ago, leading to her expertise in dirt jumps, downhill, skate park, and freeride style terrain. She spends much of her year traveling to events across the United States inspiring and encouraging other riders – in particular young women – to push their own limits on the bike. Kat Sweet

Former professional downhill mountain bike racer and X-Games ski competitor Kat Sweet is a certified IMIC coach and creator of the women’s mountain bike program, Sweetlines. Her coaching has taken her all over the United States and Canada. Kat spends countless hours building and restoring mountain bike trails and rides for Team Dirt Corps. She is sponsored by Trek, Gregg’s Cycles, Deity, Fox, Five Ten, Smith Optics, and Nutcase. She was a guest rider in the movie Pedal Driven, and has been featured in articles in Bike Magazine, Decline, Freehub, Momentum, and Dirt Rag.  If you ever need to know what it feels like to own a hill or simply be reminded why you should ride a bike, Kat will gladly show you how to do it.
